DESIGN

Designing either interior or overall building (house most probably) have been quite a 'history' as I am now a full time homemaker. For some people might find it a 'waste' of life when you leave world of professional career to be with your loved ones 24-7.. though its a bit tough in the beginning some eight years ago when we first struck the millenium era, well its like a 'culture shock' to me because I used to be a busy architect firm's employee catching datelines, checking under construction sites which could be risking your safety for sure when you are the only lady there with all the foreign workers around you.

Since design have been part of my life before, no doubt it still are now but in different situation though. I still do the small part design to my friends and families. Furthermore my husband's family involved in this industry as they might need my views, opinions sometimes. Now my brother-in-law just graduated as an architect and he will taking over the 'tasks' from me by assisting our big brother with future projects. And I'll be their loyal critics ..

My husband and I like simple yet practical concept / architecture like above picture that we took at a golf resort nearby. We do appreciate old buildings with colonial era, eclyctic style or pre war architecture as they are suitable for that particular time. We like simple lines, geometrical shape but not circular or rounded. On top of that we dislike if too much square or lines on a design like those can be seen most of housing estate in Kuala Lumpur lately. We have our dream house which we will put all our efforts, loves and passion to it..one day we will.. Last few years my husband and I were involved with renovation of our friend's house and glad that they satisfied with it. It may look simple and one can say " I can do that..its easy!.." but the experiences along the way made us really enjoyed it with the owner that was very coorperative, understanding and gave all their trusts to us..
